FASTENING THE DRILL PRESS TO A SUPPORTING SURFACE
If the machine has any tendency to tip over, slide,
or walk on the supporting surface, you must secure
the machine base to the supporting surface with an
M8x1.25 x 125mm carriage head screw, 8.5mm flat
washer, 8.5mm lock washer, M8x1.25 hex nut through
each of the two holes (A) Fig. 15.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE DRILL PRESS
The power switch is located on the front of the drill press head. To turn the drill press “ON”, press the green start
button (A) Fig. 16. To stop the drill press, push the red button (B).
LOCKING THE SWITCH IN THE "OFF" POSITION
IMPORTANT: When the machine is not in use, the switch should be locked in the "OFF" position to prevent unauthorized
use,
using a padlock (C) Fig. 17 with a 3/16" diameter shackle.

USING THE FLEXIBLE LAMP
The flexible lamp op er ates in de pen dent ly. To turn the
lamp “ON” and “OFF”, rotate the switch (A) Fig. 18.
To reduce the risk of fire, use 40 watt
or less, 120 volt, reflector track-type light bulb (not
supplied). DO NOT USE a stan dard house hold light
bulb. Do Not let the reflector track-type light bulb extend
below the lamp shade.

Make sure that the switch is in the “OFF” position before plugging cord into outlet. Do not touch the
plug’s metal prongs when unplugging or plugging in the cord.
In the event of a power outage (such as a breaker or fuse trip), always move the switch to the
“OFF” position until the main power is restored.
