5.6 Execution of Works
Checking of Extract Air Function Display :
n Simulation of extract air failure. Once a year, an extract air failure should be simulated.
n Checking of connections. Visually check all connections for a correct fit and for the right position
and damages.
NOTE
n Back-up battery (6V / 1.2 Ah) shall be replaced after a maximum running time of 2 years.
n Checking of the functions of the light emitting diodes. Detach the hose from the function display.
n Checking of warning signal. Switch the device off. Press QUIT key as soon as the
warning signal sounds.
DANGER!
n The measuring hose may neither be damaged nor kinked. It shall be tightly fixed to both,
the extract air spigot and the sensor.
n Checking of limiting values. Detach the hose from the function display.
n Checking of back-up battery is checked by switching of the power supply.
Replacement of means of Illumination:
n To illuminate the fume cupboard interior 2 x 30 Watt fluorescent tubes are being used. In case of a failure
of these tubes they shall be replaced immediately.
n The front panel is held by two bars at the back side. Thanks to the 2 bars, the panel can be swivelled to
the front or may also be unhinged completely.
n Remove the metal housing of the lamp from the ceiling of the fume cupboard. Remove 2 sheet metal
screws from one of the front sides of the housing. Push the housing aside as far as necessary to be able
to remove the glass. Chance the fluorescent tubes. Put the housing back together in reversed order.
