Replacing the battery

A worn out battery will not hold a charge very long. When the battery is worn out it must be

replaced. The user can do this.

The battery is located in a compartment at the

rear of the tower. To replace the battery, re-

move the screws from the back cover, and re-

move the cover

Loosen the big screw at the battery cover.

You can now remove the cover.

Lift out the battery of the compartment

Press the snap-on clip on the connector and

carefully withdraw it from the printed circuit

board

The battery can now be removed and replaced. Refit in reverse order.

Please check your local regulations for disposal of the battery.
